Driveshaft Flex Discs

Driveshaft flex discs are flexible, reinforced rubber components used in many driveshaft assemblies, typically found at one or both ends of the driveshaft. Each disc has bolt holes with metal sleeves—half connect to the driveshaft, and the other half connect to the vehicle. They serve a similar purpose to universal joints by helping transmit torque while allowing slight movement and reducing vibration.

These parts are also known as giubo (or guibo), hardy disc, flexible disc, or simply flex disc.
