Warranty and Return Policy

Our goal is to exceed the expectations of every customer who gives us the privilege of serving them.  Being in business since 1975, we have learned many times over that being fair to every customer is the only way to grow our business.  Every problem is an opportunity for us to shine – a chance for us to demonstrate to our customers why they made the right choice in doing business with Action Machine.  With those principles in mind we do have a few rules to guide our return policy.  


OEM Replacement Driveshaft Returns 

If an OEM Replacement Driveshaft is ordered and we send the wrong one, we will provide a full refund or exchange and even pay return shipping charges.  If you order the wrong driveshaft by entering the wrong vehicle information or your vehicle is modified (ex: lifted or leveled) there is a small 10% restock fee, but you will receive a free return shipping label. We want you to have correct driveshaft and we will work with you to get the correct part ASAP.  All driveshaft returns must be unused and undamaged with all hardware within 90 days of purchase date.  Call for an RGA before returning any driveshaft and provide the issue. Expect your refund in about 10 business days from the day we receive and review your driveshaft for a refund. 

Custom Driveshaft Returns

For custom driveshafts and any other custom manufactured items, since those are built to customer specifications we do not accept returns on these items.  However, we will be happy to help in modifying the driveshaft at a discounted price to fix the issue.  Customer is responsible for any freight charges to return a custom driveshaft for modifications.  Special order items are not returnable.  

Driveshaft Parts

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase of individual components (Example - u-joints, flanges, slip yokes), return the new/unused item along with the original product packaging shipped pre-paid and postmark returned within 90 days from the date of purchase for a full refund or exchange.  The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. 

Please email Action Machine on our (Contact Us) page. before returning any merchandise.  You will be given a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA#).  This number must appear in large, bold letters on the outside of the box.  A copy of the invoice must be included with your return. Part returns are not accepted without an RGA.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Evaluation of the returned item for damage is done at the sole discretion of Action Machine.  Please mail your package in a prepaid, insured and traceable method to the address below:

Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original purchase payment.  Refunds require 10 business days from the time we receive the item for processing.  We will notify you by email once the refund has been processed.  


Claims for damages, open or concealed, or shortages must be made within 3 days of receiving an order.  Damage claims should be made with the shipping company.  Save all packaging materials and boxes.




Action Machine guarantees to the original purchaser that our welds will not fail and our tube will not twist for the life of the driveshaft.  We will either repair or replace the driveshaft at our discretion. The tube/weld warranty does not apply to agricultural and industrial applications or shafts sized 1550 Series and up (typically in semi truck, dump trucks, large box trucks, etc).  Any driveshaft found to have manufacturing defects will be replaced or repaired at no charge.  A warranty determination will be made after inspection by Action Machine.  The driveshaft must be sent in for inspection freight pre-paid.

All driveshaft components (example: U-Joints, end yokes, etc) are sold with the manufacturer’s one year limited warranty.  All of the components used in complete driveshafts are warrantied for one year.

The maximum warranty claim allowable under any circumstance is limited to the replacement, repair or refund cost of the items purchased from Action Machine Inc.  Action Machine Inc can not be responsible for any other damage or injury therefore, the purchaser assumes all risk when using any Action Machine Inc product or service.  Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations may not apply . This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  All warranties are void if your driveshaft is serviced or modified by anyone other than Action Machine Inc.  Every driveshaft has an Action Machine sticker applied with a serial number.  You must keep this sticker on the shaft for any warranty claims. 

Please remember each customer knows the power, handling, limitations of their vehicle and their intended product use as well as their own mechanical skills much better than we do.  Ultimately it is up to each customer to be able to decide the design specifications of their driveshaft/component and whether it is suitable for how they plan to use it.  We recommend a safety loop with any driveshaft.
