Ordering a new, 2 or more piece driveshaft or requesting changes to an existing shaft.

Step 1. Determine whether you have Inside or Outside snap ring U-Joints.
Then use the appropriate chart below to circle your U-Joint Series.
Note: Measure U-Joints with caps on and fully compressed.
Measure U-Joints at both the front & rear of the driveshaft.

For Dimension E using the end yoke, measure inside the two locating tabs.
*For 1310 & 1330 Special, only 2 caps are 1 1/8" & other 2 caps are 1 1/16" (primarily used on Ford applications).

For Dimension E using the end yoke, measure between the flat surfaces on the inside of the yoke.
For Dimension D, measure to the outside edge of the snap ring groove in the cap.

Step 2. Determine Transmission output. Provide the details for your output type. Output will be 1 of 3 options: Spline, Flange, or End Yoke. See below.

Step 3. Measure Driveshaft Length. There are various types of transmission and rear end splines, yokes and flanges. Shown below are 4 common configurations. If you do not see your set-up below, call us for help. Measure as follows:

If you have more than a 2 piece driveshaft, measure from center of carrier bearing to center of carrier bearing for each of the middle shafts.
