    Heavy Duty 5 Inch Aluminum Driveshaft

    This driveshaft fits 2011 to 2018 Chevrolet/GMC, Duramax Extended Cab Short Bed 4 Wheel Drive trucks with both manual and automatic transmissions. 

    This driveshaft is heavy duty from end to end. The OEM shaft is an .083" wall aluminum while our upgrade driveshaft is .125 wall - 50% thicker! We use the Spicer cold forged sealed u-joint - the best and strongest 1480 u-joint available.  The Aluminum tubing is 5 inch OD Kaiser premium aluminum seamless material that is 1/8" thick -- rated for over 7,000 ft/lbs of torque!  It will handle even the heaviest towing loads. We offer a lifetime warranty on our welds and a 1 year unlimited mile warranty on all parts.

    The driveshaft comes fully assembled with the transfer case slip yoke, balanced and ready to bolt in.  Installation is as simple as sliding in the transfer case yoke and bolting up the straps.  If you need new straps for the rear end yoke, select that option below.  It is not common but it is always a good idea to check for clearance issues with the larger diameter tubing to ensure the proper driveshaft fitment.
